Last month I posted a funny campaign video and got a comment from Michael that he’d like to see more.
Since then I’ve been watching for more funny campaign videos however since most are poking fun at a particular candidate and I’m not taking sides on this blog I haven’t found anything appropriate.
Yesterday however I did get a picture from my daughter that I think you will get a chuckle from. And below the picture I’ve placed the comment my other daughter replied when she first saw it.

“So that’s what they mean by trickle down economics.”
Please feel free to leave a comment whether you agree or think we’re being unfair.
To Your Success,
Susan
P.S. In casy you’re wondering why I’ve placed this picture and the last video un “My Thoughts” instead of “Just For Fun” it’s because while they may be funny (sorta) I think they are also unfortunately true.

hahahhahaha… I’ve seen this one. It still makes me chuckle.

While trickle down economics may sound like trash it is what our economy has been using since it’s inception. The American dream of being rich and that we all can strive for that is still as real today as it was over 200 years ago. People get rich, create businesses, hire others and so on. Without that dream no one would get rich. The idea of taking from the rich and giving to the poor doesn’t work. That’s called socialism and eventually it leads to state control of all business because there is no incentive for anyone to start a business or acquire wealth. OK, we tax businesses and not individuals, well who pays those taxes? That’s right you and I. It becomes a hidden tax on the poor. Taxes and regulations have caused a ton of businesses to move overseas. The false cry that it’s because of cheap labor is the mantra of the socialist. Cheap labor that must be trained and that puts out poor products is not enough incentive for companies to move overseas. When you add that to the taxation and regulation Washington likes to place on businesses does make that a feasible alternative that many businesses have chosen. The “rich” already pay 70% of the taxes collected. We ask them to pay more and what happens? They move the money overseas and invest there which leads to less jobs. Everytime taxes are lowered on the upper class guess what happens, more jobs are created, and government revenues increase. Happened for President Kennedy and happend during Ronald Reagans term. So choose, capitalism or socialism?
