Since you’ve come to this page I guess you want to know a little more about me so here goes …

First, I’m a real person just like you and I didn’t know anything about the internet or web programming when I started doing it in 2002.

Although I have a masters degree in computer science, I got it back in the dark ages before personal computers and the internet were born. And while I didn’t always love my job, I did love being a programmer and software engineer for 20 years.

Then, in 2001, I took an early retirement from my job. I didn’t really want to retire and couldn’t really afford it but did it because the stress of trying to survive the continual downsizing was getting to me. I had survived the previous 5 years of downsizing but when they asked for volunteers to train people overseas to do our jobs and announced that retirement requirements and benefits were changing (not for the better) my husband and I decided it was time for a change.

Now before I tried internet marketing I first looked for other employment as a technical programmer and then gave multilevel marketing a couple of tries. Needless to say I failed at both.

Not being able to find employment and not having the mindset to succeed at MLM, I then turned to my personal computer and decided to learn about the internet and internet marketing. Needless to say, I made just about every “newbie” mistake possible. I designed some really “bad” looking web pages, I jumped from 1 thing to another, I tried to remain anonymous and I spent lots of money to send pre-written solo ads for affiliate products. I tried reading email for money, I joined safelists and I surfed for traffic. Any of this sound familiar?

Yes, I have succeeded but I don’t sell my own product, consulting or mentoring. I’ve succeeded as an affiliate and reseller.

Like many, I have no great desire to write a book. Sure, I know what it takes to succeed as an affiliate but why write another ebook when there are already so many good ones available? Besides, what I truly enjoy is helping new-comers to internet marketing.
